‘Run Away With Us’, is the show that launched it all. Back in 2003, Circus Kaput performed it’s first run of shows for large, curious crowds. Many people in the audience had never seen anything like it live before. The idea that a small circus, without all of the big, Las Vegas props and sets could be so engaging. The show was big on heart and low on production values, yet it was still spectacular. It was a hit.
This classic Kaput production is still being performed today. It is an ideal show for small communites that may not have a big theatrical space. It can be performed anywhere from a school gymnasium to a field in a park.
The show centers on two hobos (clowns) who stumble, literally into a circus. Throughout the production, the hobos are pulled this way and that through the different circus acts trying to find where they fit. ‘Run Away With Us’ featurres aerial artists(where rigging is possible), jugglers, acrobats, magic, unicyclists and much more! |
